Build-A-Bryan activity kits are a great way to learn common sewing techniques. Some include straight stitching, basting, creating a ladder or invisible stitch, stuffing a plush, finishing a stitch line and even hemming!

Design for hand stitching, perfectly compatible with sewing machines
When we set out to create an easy-to-follow instruction set for building a plush toy, we wanted to make something that anyone pick up and build a plush toy. (We even teach you how to thread a needle!)
We took extra care to make sure Paper Bryan was compatible with a common sewing machine by including specific settings for sewing tyvek and tips to when hand sewing and machine sewing differed.
An Activity Kit for all ages
Build-A-Bryan is great for all ages 8-108. Experienced sewers and crafters can expect to spend 6-8 hours building their first Paper Bryan doll.
Paper Bryan is durable
Paper Bryan is the activity kit made from Tyvek® by the Dupont company. Tyvek® is a 100% synthetic, nonwoven material made from high-density spunbound polyethylene fibers. This material is lightweight, sewable, durable and perfect for all sorts of crafting.
You may recognize the name Tyvek® as its the product used for sterile packaging, building envelopes like house wrap, cargo covers, personal protective equipment and much more.
